How it works
  1. Six rounds, two cards each. Pick one. Serve, forehand, backhand, movement, return, mentality.
  2. Your six picks become one player rating. Surfaces reward different stats.
  3. All four Slams, seven rounds each. A loss ends that Slam — but you still play the next one.
  4. Final line is your cumulative record. 28-0 is the whole point.

A tennis draft game about one impossible number

Twenty-eight matches. Four Grand Slams, seven rounds each, played in a single season. No player in the history of the sport has come through all of them unbeaten, and 28-0 asks whether you could build someone who would.

You don't play the points — you build the player. Six rounds of drafting, two cards each time, pulled from forty-eight of the greatest names the game has produced across their breakout, prime and veteran seasons. Take Djokovic's return or Agassi's. Take Isner's serve and accept the movement that comes with it. Every card you take is a card you can't have later, and the whole draft is over in under a minute.

Then the season runs. Wimbledon rewards a serve, Roland Garros rewards movement and reliability, and your nerve counts double in every tiebreak and deciding set. A perfect run happens about three percent of the time, so most builds die somewhere in the low twenties — close enough to make you draft again.
